It's our go to spot in downtown JC area. They have consistently delivered with great food and friendly service. Its on higher end on with cost but we feel like quality usually keeps up with it. Cocktails with Indian twist are a winner and so are their curries and breads. Will recommend to anyone in the area for a good meal. Their lunch specials are a steal too for what you get

Needed a late night spot and stumbled upon this gem. The food, drinks and service were amazing!

Ambiance was great (music playing but not distracting and an appropriate volume). Staff was super kind. Was pleased with every item we ordered, which is a difficult feat! First time in and will definitely return. Great spot for if you have guests visiting town or want an easy spot to catch up with friends

3 stars for food, 5 stars for service, atmosphere, and innovative menu options Came here on a double date on a Friday night. There was indoor and outdoor seating options and since it was hot outside we sat indoor with the AC. We had a reservation for 6:30 but there were a few empty tables around us. We had a complimentsry amuse-Bouche to start, a spiked mango lassi, and pani puri shots. I loved innovativeness of the drinks - mixing modern drinks with traditional Indian flavors. We also ordered a prawn curry and a chicken curry. Both were okay, a little too sweet and the portions were small for the price. The jalapeño cheese naan and rosemary naan and aloo paratha were yummy, and so was the chaat masala. Overall had a pleasant experience, but the flavors didn't really live up to the quality of the restaurant and the pricing

We have been coming/ordering from Brick Lane for a while because it's consistently delicious. They recently added a brunch buffet from 12-4 on weekends and omg. The menu changes every week--today the theme was Guri Padwa. At least half the buffet options are vegetarian. There is self-serve masala chai, and ample salad ingredients. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We always have a great time and will definitely keep coming back.

As a hungry vegetarian, I was very pleased to come here for Easter brunch. OMG, I am in heaven and we ordered from the buffet meal available only on weekends. High level * Price is right!!! You get so much for the price including naan!! * Food is so fresh. * Made on the spot - these little appetizers - are delicious! * It includes Chai as well. LOVE IT. * My friend had the flesh dishes and he ate it all. * We got a little mint at the end with our receipt. * The Gulab was delicious - these are these tiny little carb balls in syrup. * Service was attentive. I am looking forward to coming back here when I am not dieting.

Fancy Indian dining in JC. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and great food. They give you papad and tomato soup shots. The soup was delicious! We had the chicken kheema pav which was really good and resembled pav bhaji. Very unique dish. Chicken tikka masala was pretty standard. Drinks were great! I would give it 5 stars but the service was slow. Our appetizer and entree came out together and pretty late into our seating.

I've been coming here many times since arriving in Jersey City in 2016. This last time there was the best yet. I came with my mom and step dad for my mom's birthday as she is a vegetarian who loves Indian food. She got the Chana Masala and Manchurian soup, my step dad the Biryani and Manchurian soup, and I got an order of the London Samosas (which I always love) and the chicken jalfrezi. Everything was delicious. My mom said that her meal was her favorite that she's ever had. Also, what set it apart was how kind the waitress was. She went out of her way to explain the dishes, how to eat them, and what went into them. 5+++ stars for her kindness and attentiveness. Also, they played a birthday song for my mom and brought a lovely coconut dessert. It was all just so lovely of an experience.
